Terms of use
Stoodiohub, by Stoodiohub · last updated 9 October 2026 · version 2026-10-09
These terms are the agreement between you and Stoodiohub ("we") for using Stoodiohub. By registering, or by using Stoodiohub, you agree to them. Our Privacy notice explains what we do with your information.
1. The service
Stoodiohub helps film productions plan and run a shoot: scripts and schedules, call sheets, people, locations, catering, travel, paperwork, the day on set and post. It is in early access: it is free while it is, it changes often, and features may be added, changed or removed. If we introduce paid plans we will tell you first, and you will not be charged for anything you have not chosen.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or over. A child performer is added and managed by their parent or guardian.
- Give your real name and correct details, keep your login to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what is done with your login.
- You can delete your details at any time on My profile.
3. Productions
If you run a film on Stoodiohub (as its owner, an admin or a producer) you are also responsible for:
- the information your production adds about its cast and crew: having a proper reason to keep it, telling people it is in Stoodiohub, and using Stoodiohub's settings (who sees what, read only, the film's switches) sensibly;
- health and safety on your shoot. Risk assessments, the fire register, check-in, first aid, child performer checks and call sheets in Stoodiohub are tools to help you; they do not replace your own duties, professional advice or the law. In an emergency, call 999 first;
- the contracts, releases and other paperwork you send. Stoodiohub's starter templates are a starting point, not legal advice: have them checked before you rely on them;
- the accounts you connect (Google Drive, social networks, SumUp), and following those companies' own terms.
4. What you put in Stoodiohub
- What you upload or write stays yours. You let us store it, copy it (for backups and offline use) and show it to the people on your film your production allows, only to run Stoodiohub.
- Upload only what you have the right to: your own photos, video, designs and documents, or ones you have permission to use. Photos and video in a film's library can be seen by everyone on that film; a production may use library items in its marketing, and posting them publicly is the production's responsibility.
- Camera originals and other irreplaceable files should always have their own backups: Stoodiohub is not a backup of your footage.
5. Using Stoodiohub fairly
Don't use Stoodiohub to break the law, harass anyone, share other people's private information without a good reason, upload anything harmful, try to get into what you are not allowed to see, or overload or copy the service. We may suspend or close an account that does, and will tell you why unless the law or safety stops us.
6. Links, screens and working offline
- Some links (a wrap page, a signing link, a shared document, a paired TV) open without a login: anyone who has the link, or can see the screen, sees what it shows. Keep them to the people they are for, and revoke or unpair them when done.
- Stoodiohub works with no signal and sends changes when it can. Where two people change the same thing, the latest change is kept and both are told; check anything critical once you are back online.
7. Availability and liability
We work hard to keep Stoodiohub running and your information safe, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses (such as lost profits, lost shooting days or lost footage), and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months, or £100 if more. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your rights as a consumer.
8. Ending
You can stop using Stoodiohub and delete your details whenever you like. If we ever close Stoodiohub, we will give productions reasonable notice and a way to download their films.
9. Changes and the law
When these terms change in a way that matters, the version above changes and you are asked to accept them the next time you open Stoodiohub. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts deal with any dispute, though if you live elsewhere in the UK you may use your local courts.
